I have been slowly collecting rug yarn for a while now to make a massive (8′ x 10′) rug for my dining room. Well, I put out a call on Crochetville to all my buddies that I was in the market to buy. I got a huge bundle from my dear friend Krystal to start me off right! Plus, I’ve bought some and been gifted a bit more and was finally able to start this monster project last night!

I’m just using colors at random along with one strand of black worsted weight yarn as a unifier. I think it’s gonna come out really great
I am still new to this site but it did encourage me to make my two kids blankets with their names using a small granny square. I was wondering how the rug turned out. I really love this site. I also made Jasie’s blanket for a friends baby and she loved it.
