Dress Assembly
Match back seam of
skirt. Sew together using tapestry needle and Black yarn using an
overcast stitch. With Dark Orchid, ch 75, finish off. Weave
chain through stitches at waist. Once on doll tie in a knot.

Closure
Tie a
knot in the end of the ch 20 (might have to do it 2 or 3 times in same
spot to make a large enough knot). This knot slips into the ch 5
on opposite end to form the cape closure.

HAIR
Base
With
Carrot, ch 31, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across, finish
off.
Hair Strands
Using
a piece of cardboard measuring 8.5" x 11" wrap Carrot yarn lengthwise to
make 22" long fringe. Make a total of 120 fringe pieces. Hold two
strands of yarn. Fold strands in half and hold about 1” from top to form
a loop. Insert hook into first sc in wig base, then through the
loop of the strands of yarn, draw both strands through sc keeping two
strand loop on hook, yarn over with loose end of bundle and pull
through loop, pull tight. Repeat this process in each sc across and in free loops of foundation row. Position on head
with ends where ears would be. Sew to head. Flip all strands
of hair to back of head. Gather in pony tail and secure.
General Finishing
Sew
hat to head using Black yarn and tapestry needle. Embroider
eyebrows using photograph as a reference. With Red embroider
zigzag shape for mouth.
