Coin Purse

Materials & Supplies:

1/2 ball Sugar ‘n Cream 4 ply cotton yarn - Painted Desert
Size “G” Crochet Hook
Tapestry Needle
Hook and loop tape (optional)

Directions:

Row 1: Ch 31, sc in second ch from hook and in each ch across, ch 1, turn (30 sc)

Row 2-15: Sc in each sc across, ch 1, turn (30 sc)

Row 16: (RS) Sc in each sc across, do not finish off (30 sc)

Construction:

First Pocket Side:  With RS together, form pocket by folding short end where last st was made lengthwise to Stitch 22.  Sl st side together.  Finish off.  Weave in loose ends. 

Second Pocket Side:  With RS together, join yarn to bottom of second pocket with a sl st.  Sl st second side closed.  Do not finish off.

Edging:  Work sc along the inside top of pocket made.  Continue with sc along edges of flap until reaching first sc at top of pocket.  Join to beg with sl st.  Finish off.  Weave in loose ends.  If desired, apply hook and loop tape under front flap.
