FO - Finish off
sk - skip
sl st - slip stitch

Materials:

21 oz Red Heart Super Saverworsted weight yarn in Honeydew
Size I crochet hook
 

Ch 126

Row 1: In 7th ch from hook work (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) shell made, *skip next 4 ch, work shell in next ch; repeat from * across to last 4 chs, skip next 3 sc, dc in last ch, ch 3, turn

Row 2:  Work shell in the ch 2 sp of each shell across, dc in 5th ch of beginning 7 chs, ch 3, turn

Row 3-45: Work shell in the ch 2 sp of each shell across, dc in the top of the beginning ch 3, ch 3, turn

Row 46: Sc in first ch 2 sp, *ch 2, sc between two shells, ch 2, sc in next ch 2 sp; repeat from * across to last ch 2 sp, sc in last ch 2 sp, ch 2, sc in top of beginning ch 3, ch 1

Border:

Rnd 1: Working along sides, work 100 sc evenly spaced along all four sides, 3 sc in corners, join to first sc with sl st, ch 2, turn

Rnd 2:   Hdc in next stitch, 3 hdc in next stitch (this should be the center sc of the 3 sc corner from previous row).  Hdc in each stitch around working 3 hdc in the center sc of the 3 sc corners, join with a sl st to beginning ch 2, do NOT turn

 

Rnd 3: Sl st to center hdc of the 3 hdc corner from previous row, work (2 dc, 2 trc, ch 1, 2 trc, 2 dc) in corner stitch fan made, *skip next 4 hdc, work fan; repeat from * around making certain to work fan in the center hdc of the 3 hdc corners (Note: if you end up with only 3 stitches to skip to corner don’t despair.  Just skip those 3 hdc and work the fan in the corner)
